Ways You Can Give to Help Kids with Cancer

Planned Giving

Planned giving allows a donor to make a charitable gift of estate assets to one or more nonprofit organizations. These assets usually include legal documents and often require the assistance of a qualified professional advisor.

Also known as legacy giving, estate giving, and gift planning, the goal of planned giving is to maximize the benefits to both the donor and the nonprofit organization, and often results in significant tax savings.

The Morgan Adams Foundation works with several planned giving professionals who are available to answer any questions a donor may have. To schedule an appointment with one of our planned giving professionals, please call our office at (303) 758-2130.

Workplace Giving

Employees often look for the opportunity to make a contribution to the community. Workplace fundraising forges a greater bond among employees as they work together to benefit the charity of their choice.

Companies and their employees can begin Workplace Giving Campaigns with:

  • Matching Gifts
Find out if your employer matches charitable donations by clicking here. Matching programs will allow you to double the impact of your gift.
  • Income Designation
Many companies give their employees the opportunity to designate a portion of their income to a nonprofit organization. At the employee’s request, the deduction is taken directly from a paycheck. The donation can be made each pay period or in one sum donation.

An endowment is a long-term, permanently restricted asset wherein original gift amounts are actively invested in order to create passive current-use income for the work of the organization. Endowments are vital resources committed by donors to an organization’s future.
