This mixed media sculpture has a clay form, a bodice fashioned to duplicate an actual blouse I wore when I was little. The drape was to gun to make. I used toys, faces and hands made from molds, and lots of found objects. Some of the objects I had collected for years and dome were random. As I assembled the objects on the strands I worked with the strands in an aesthetic nature- each strand had to work in the overall collection to succeed in my expectation to convey joy and “freedom” (doing what I wanted during recess!).
