Childhood Cancer Awareness Colorado License Plate Frequently Asked Questions

When will I receive my Certificate of Eligibility?Graphic rendering of the Colorado Childhood Cancer Awareness License Plate featuring a blue sky, gold ribbon over white mountains, and the words "Cure Childhood Cancer" above a thin gray line and a gold footer.

After making a qualifying donation of at least $47, you will immediately receive an automated email receipt confirming your purchase. (Note: This email is NOT what you need to order the plate from the DMV.)

Within 5 business days of making a qualifying donation, you will receive an email containing your Certificate of Eligibility and the 5-digit PIN number that must be provided to the DMV to place an order for the Childhood Cancer Awareness special license plate.

Can I get more than one Certificate of Eligibility?

For every qualifying donation of $47, you will receive 1 (ONE) Certificate of Eligibility and PIN number. To get additional Certificates of Eligibility, you will need to make a qualifying donation of $47 for each one.

It is acceptable to make one donation for multiple plates. For example, if you would like to order two plates, you would need to make a donation of at least $94 to receive the two Certificates of Eligibility. If donating for more than one plate, please be sure to include all the names listed on the registration for all the vehicles for which you would like to get a Childhood Cancer Awareness plate.

Can I use the DMV’s online system to order my Childhood Cancer Awareness license plate?
