Lisa has a BS in Interior Design from Kent State University, Kent, OH. For most of her career, she was an outside Sales Representative offering a large diversity of sustainable products/finishes including wallcoverings, textiles, & artwork.
She had an ‘environmental/eco’ interior design firm called “Tierra Structures Design Inc.” which focused on designing “Biophilic” spaces which invited nature & healing benefits into the design. She also was on the ground floor of an organization called Entrepreneurs for Sustainability.
As a passionate animal lover, Lisa raised llamas & was involved in all aspects of having these awesome critters, including: Back-packing, breeding, training, showing, rescue, and was also a certified fiber judge! As an artist, she created a variety of art & fiber items from llama/alpaca fiber. Lisa & her husband continue to rescue & foster Basset Hounds dogs!
Lisa just retired as one of a small group of National “Color Consultants” for the Sherwin Williams Company. However, she continues to be creative with her multi faceted business called: “Hozho: The Beauty Way.” Influenced & distracted by all the beauty & natural surroundings, Hozho gives purchase to her creative spirit and she continues to make beaded jewelry, fiber arts, and up-cycled arts & crafts. Her latest endeavor is creating 3-D collages from a lifetime of found objects, which she calls LOFO for short!
