Sarah is a Denver native hailing from a family of artists, her artistic voyage has been profoundly shaped by her environment and upbringing. She received her BFA and an Art Education degree from Metropolitan State University. Since graduating she has taught in a variety of adaptiveart programs throughout Denver and Los Angeles. Currently Sarah and her sister work with their father inthe world of sign painting, specializing in murals, gold leaf, commercial art, and installations. Her work involves crafting pieces that surpass the traditional artistic methods used with these mediums. Instead, she crafts multi-dimensional artworks that use tactile components to elicit humorous and clever narratives.
