A lifelong artist, Melinda works in as unconscious a state as possible, in order to maintain spontaneity. Her work has been exhibited at NCAR, the Art Institute of Chicago, Boulder Open Studios, Foothills Art Center. Melinda’s art can be found in collections throughout the U.S. and Europe. LOBE ART, Melinda’s line of earrings, is an offshoot/reflection of her art, where she applies her sense of color and form to the creation of wearable pieces. LOBE ART has been sold in boutiques and museum stores across the nation, including at the Dallas Museum of Art and the Chicago Museum of Contemporary Art.
