Originally from Chicago, Louis has been living and working in Colorado since 1972. His work is included in many public and corporate collections including: The Denver Art Museum; Vance Kirkland Museum; The Loveland Museum, Loveland, CO; California College of Arts & Crafts, San Francisco; Absolut Vodka, Carillon Importers, New York; McDonalds corporate office; as well as others. His work has also been shown in numerous venues including the Brooklyn Museum, New York; the Vienna Museum of Modern Art, Vienna, Austria; International Art Expo, Navy Pier, Chicago; SOFA, Miami, FL; and the New Orleans Contemporary Art Center to name a few. He is represented locally by Abend Gallery, FooLPRoof Gallery, and Pirate Contemporary Art.
