I am a graphic designer and abstract encaustic artist living in Colorado with my dog Rosie. When I’m not in the studio, I'm most likely in the garden. Gardening isn’t just a passion—it’s an extension of my creative process. Many of the plants I grow ultimately become materials or references within my work.
My encaustic mixed-media work explores the contrast and connection between natural elements and man-made objects. Memories and personal experiences become starting points, transforming into new ideas. The nature of encaustic—its fluid layers, shifting colors, and unexpected textures—offers a continual lesson in patience, curiosity, surrender, and acceptance.
