Artist: Jennifer Bain

Jennifer Bain is a painter deeply influenced by spirituality, nature, and their relationship with contemporary art. Her exploration of art as a spiritual journey began at The Rudolph Steiner School in New York City, an esteemed institution known for its arts-centered curriculum and mystical teachings. Initially, Bain pursued a path that combined creativity with practicality, earning an A.A. degree in Fashion Design and finding success in that field. However, her desire for a more profound artistic journey led her to transition into full-time artistry in 1994. Since then, she has focused on creating art in series, experimenting with a variety of painting styles that blend abstract and narrative elements. Her work has been showcased in prominent contemporary galleries across the United States, Asia, and the Middle East. Additionally, her pieces are included in both private and corporate collections and have been displayed in healing settings such as The Mayo Clinic, Kaiser Permanente, Sutter Health, UCLA, San Francisco General, and Stanford University Hospitals. Bain also represented the United States in the Art in Embassies program in 2005 and 2009. In 2016, after spending thirty-seven years in Oakland, California, she relocated to Santa Fe, New Mexico, following the passing of her husband. Currently she is thriving in this new chapter of her life, with a large studio, garden and two small dogs.
