I got to Colorado not long after graduate school and had some success early, including Colorado Clay and invitations surrounding that recognition. I moved to Evergreen where I maintain a working studio. My art includes two dimensional, as well as three, although I mostly work in clay. I have continued to show my work and enter competitively. 2004 to present, I am part of Tom Ware's sculpture group, The Warehouse Gang. We work from models and my intention is to get the figure to speak to me, evoke a response or feeling. This gives them kind of a life, which I love.
