Artist: Chaz Polson

Chaz Polson is a Colorado native whose work is shaped by a life grounded in family, service, and competition. A roofing contractor by trade, professional MMA fighter, and wrestling coach, Polson’s daily world is physical, disciplined, and relational—built on trust, effort, and responsibility. He is also a husband and father, roles that anchor his sense of purpose and care. Art has been a constant presence throughout his life. Though never treated as a central pursuit, painting has remained a private and enduring practice—one that mirrors his approach to work and coaching: attentive, honest, and rooted in experience. His paintings often reflect moments of balance and restraint, where strength is expressed through control rather than force. Polson’s motivation to continue painting is simple and direct. He creates with the hope that his work moves people enough to live with it—to place it in their homes or workplaces as something meaningful, lived with, and returned to over time. His work is not about spectacle, but about connection: images that reward presence, care, and quiet attention.
