Originally from Cuba but now based in Denver, Colorado, Ana is a full-time professional fluid acrylic artist whose work is inspired by movement, emotion, and the transformative power of fluidity. With more than 100 fluid art techniques available today, she specializes and is trained in the technically demanding Shelee Art Bloom technique, developed by renowned Australian artist Shelee Carruthers. Ana works with free-flowing acrylics, powdered mica pigments, and various additives, guiding the paint through blowing, tilting, and spinning to create intricate, marbleized cells and organic structures. The result is a visual dialogue between control and spontaneity—where color, motion, and chemistry converge into unexpected beauty.
Each composition invites the viewer to see something new: shifting shapes, fluid forms, and the balance between deliberate movement and the paint’s own unpredictable nature. Ana’s paintings have been showcased in galleries across Colorado and Santa Fe, New Mexico, and are held in private collections throughout the United States.
